An agent for The Moon Came to Dinner!

This summer, in addition to being able to spend all day with my kids, something wonderful happened. I found an agent for my book! The Moon Came to Dinner is being represented by Jan Kardys of Black Hawk Literary Agency. I met with Jan earlier this month and now I am working on materials that she will send with the submission to publishers.

I will always remember my two oldest boys' reactions when I told them that Jan had called and left a message that she loved my book and wanted to represent it. They're only 6 and 7, but they jumped up and down and hugged me, yelling (of course). They were so excited! What a great moment to share with them. I can only imagine how excited they'll be when the book is a reality and they see it for the first time!
